Definition of Count: According to the Fabric Company “Count is a variety of showing the bulk per model size or size per model bulk of yarn”.
There are several count program of string. These count techniques have been separated in two techniques. One is Immediate System where size is resolved and another is Oblique program where bodyweight is resolved.
Direct System (Length Fixed):
A). Tex: Weight of string in gm existing in 1000 gauge size. It is a widespread program of keeping track of the string.
B). Denier: Weight of string in gm existing in 9000 gauge size. It is generally used for man created fiber content.
C) Weight Per Spindle: Weight of string in lbs existing in 1440 gardens size.
Indirect System ( Weight Fixed):
A). Language Natural cotton Count: No. of hanks of 840 yds existing in 1 lb of string.
B) Full Count: No. of hanks of 1000 measures existing in 1 kg of string.
C) Worsted count: No. of hanks of 560 yds existing in 1 lb of Yarn. It is generally used for Made from woll.
