Gassing is the procedure of driving string, as different from clothing very easily through a line of Bunsen gas fire in a gassing structure, as a way to get rid of off the predicting material and create the place game and sleek and also better. Only the better features of string are gassed, such as that used for voiles, poplins, venetians, gabardines, many Silk features, etc. There is a bodyweight decrease of gassing, which varies' about 5 to 8 %., so that if a 2/60's string is necessary 2/56's would be used. The gassed string is dimly lit in colour afterwards, but should not be scorched.
